Que Hizois an arts and crafts retail store in Barcelona, Spain, located near the School of Barcelona Academy of Fine Art, inspiration for the store is the iconic Casa Batillobuilding. The concept is built around the unique design of Casa Batillo, which features colorful mosaics made from recycled glass, organic shapes, and whimsical details. Inspiration was drawn from Antoni Gaudi's decision to recycle the building as well as using recycled materials. Movement in the space had to be prevalent because of Gaudi’s design hints the open floor plan as well as flooring which were utilized. Repetition was key in creating a flow into the space while also creating harmony by using repeating shapes throughout the space. Our store offers a range of art supplies, craft materials, and unique handcrafted items that showcase the creativity and innovation of the Casa Batillodesign.
